Reunions

Often in conjunction with the Red Maids’ Society and the Redland High Old Girls’ Guild, the school hosts reunion events to reconnect alumnae with their peers and showcase current school life.  We hold an annual ‘Big Reunion’ to come together over lunch with tours, performances from current students and a chance to delve into our archives. Contact the team for more information and keep an eye on Connect

Networking Events

At Redmaids’ High, we understand how important it is to develop core life skills alongside academic progress.  Our annual Networking Event introduces our Sixth Formers to a range of individuals to hear how networking skills have helped build and shape their professional life. The event also helps cultivate the skills that our students need for their UCAS, apprenticeship, or Gap Year activity applications and interviews. We are always keen to welcome alumnae, parents and other supporters to school to share their knowledge and experience with our current students.

Annual Careers Conference

This annual event is held in the Autumn Term for students in Year 9 and above as well as those from other local schools. It offers information on a range of professions and further education pathways and is a fantastic opportunity to hear from speakers and participate in workshops to gain information to help shape GCSE, A Level, IB or degree options and potential careers.  Past conferences have focused on careers in STEM subjects, medicine and the creative industries.  Please email careers@redmaidshigh.co.uk to get involved in running a session or providing information on your profession.

Weekly Careers talks

Weekly Careers ‘virtual lunches’ are held where alumnae talk to students about the career pathway they’ve taken, the rewards of running their own business, things they wish their 16-year-old self had known and much more. To find out how you can get involved email development@redmaidshigh.co.uk
