Networking Events
At Redmaids’ High, we understand how important it is to develop core life skills alongside academic progress. Our annual Networking Event introduces our Sixth Formers to a range of individuals to hear how networking skills have helped build and shape their professional life. The event also helps cultivate the skills that our students need for their UCAS, apprenticeship, or Gap Year activity applications and interviews. We are always keen to welcome alumnae, parents and other supporters to school to share their knowledge and experience with our current students.
Annual Looking Ahead Event
This annual event is held in the Summer Term for students in Year 10. It offers information on a range of professions and further education pathways, and is a fantastic opportunity to hear from speakers and participate in workshops to gain insights to help shape A Level, degree, or apprenticeship options and potential careers. Careers talks
Careers ‘virtual lunches’ and assemblies are held where alumnae talk to students about the career pathway they’ve taken, the rewards of running their own business, things they wish their 16-year-old self had known and much more.
