Development and Alumnae
Throughout history, students from Red Maids’ and Redland High Schools have gone onto achieve success in a wide range of careers, either by achieving impressive qualifications at university, excelling in the Arts or on the sports pitch, or by going straight into a professional environment or apprenticeship scheme. Others have launched their own successful businesses to lead or compete in diverse industry sectors.
The wide range of careers and professional interests held by our alumnae are celebrated in our Lighthouse Mentor Programme which seeks to connect Sixth Formers with former students who have studied courses they are interested in or are succeeding in careers they too want to forge. Lighthouse ensures current students receive up-to-date, real world advice from women just like themselves. Now that we have joined the Girls’ Day School Trust, our students can connect to an impressive network of some 100,000 women.
