In Years 7, 8 and 9 students become confident computer-users, who are comfortable with both Android and Windows devices and who can use and design apps for an iPad. We teach students to code their own games and robots, and to become confident engineers with an eye on 'future problem solving'.
In Year 10, we offer the OCR GCSE in Computer Science which enables students to develop valuable programming skills along with an understanding of the impact of digital technology on society as a whole.
The GCSE course provides a seamless transition into studying Computer Science at A Level or as part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

Enrichment and extra-curricular
We run a very popular film-production club, a weekly code club and we launched our own school radio station: Redmaidio in 2017. We also organise trips to tech events such as the VOXX Conference and Wired UK.
