New Head Girls announced

We are delighted to announce that our New Head Girl is Niki (right) and our Deputy Head Girl is Emily.

Niki is studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma – taking Biology, Chemistry and Global Politics at Higher Level – having achieved a straight set of A* grades in her GCSEs. A keen drama student, she holds LAMDA Grade 8 with Distinction, was a member of the National Youth Theatre and takes part in school productions – most recently she was the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz. Niki also leads the school’s RED talks programme and she will travel to Nepal this summer to work with alumna Linda Cruse.

Having started at Redland High School at the age of three, Emily is currently taking A Levels in History, Drama and Government and Politics. A qualified rugby coach, with a range of junior coaching commitments, she also has a great love of the theatre. This year, she will work with the school’s Drama Department to stage an ambitious production at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

“Both girls have a range of skills and qualities to offer the school,” said Mrs Tobias, “and we wish them every success in these important leadership roles.”
