Before half term, our Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department hosted an assembly to tell us more about the multi-cultural nature of our school. Did you know for example that we speak 24 different languages between us including Urdu, Mandarin, Bengali, Korean, Romanian, Greek and Burmese?
We have also lived in 30 countries – from Belgium to Sri Lanka, Ireland to Zimbabwe and everywhere in-between!
To celebrate the culturally and linguistically diverse nature of our school, the MFL team, headed up by Ms Kelly, made a video interviewing staff and students about the things – and the languages - that they love. Click here to see the finished result!
