We were delighted to see our talented U15 netball squad knock Millfield out in the second round of the Independent Schools Netball Cup (ISNC).

As specialist netball coach, Mrs Howells-Joll said, "Millfield are always stiff opposition, but our girls were truly outstanding!

"It was such a professional performance on every level. Every member of the squad had time on court and contributed to this result."

In the end, the Redmaids' High School team won 47 - 31, and so will now progress to the next round of this prestigious competition.

Speaking of the success, Miss Maggs, Director of Sport said, "I would like to thank our specialist netball coaches, Mrs Howells-Joll and Miss Hull, who bring with them a wealth of expertise.

"This means we can attract sporting talent from across the area and really develop it. This year we are seeing record-numbers of girls going through the NOVA Netball Academy training programme.

"I wish the squad every success in the next round of the competition."
