Ten-year-old Isabel from our Junior School won a national art competition over the summer, and now her Bristol-inspired design is splashed across the side of a National Express coach carrying passengers to and from the city.
Her colourful poster featuring popular attractions, including the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Wallace and Gromit, won an online public vote after being shortlisted by judges along with seven other designs from youngsters across the South West who entered the ‘Colour the Coach’ competition.
National Express Coach Managing Director Chris Hardy said: “Congratulations to Isabel for producing such a fantastic poster of Bristol. We were really impressed by the colour and creativity of her design, and the fact that it shows off some of the great things you can see and do in the city.”
Isabel said: “I'm speechless about winning – all the other entries were so good.”
