A fully rounded curriculum

Our curriculum is carefully constructed to provide your daughter with a well-rounded education. It provides a generous range of options, ensuring she can explore a variety of subjects, to find those she is most passionate about.

Curriculum

From Years 7 to 9 students study a broad and balanced curriculum. Creative and performing arts are a crucial part of this curriculum, alongside core subjects and the humanities, while all students study two languages.

Senior school music curriculum

Sport and Music are well catered for within the curriculum, and our multi-purpose sports grounds and performance spaces provide the perfect learning environment for your daughter to thrive in these areas. We place a strong emphasis on developing independent learning and academic skills to prepare students for their GCSE studies.

Students in Key Stage 3 also have the chance to engage in our unique enrichment curriculum, with an afternoon per fortnight dedicated to a range of exciting opportunities within and beyond the classroom.

Choice to broaden young minds

In Years 10 and 11, students study between nine and eleven GCSEs. Compulsory subjects are English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, a language and Biology, Chemistry and Physics*. They can then choose from a wide range of subjects to match their personal strengths. These include such varied subjects as Russian, Business studies, Computer Science and Dance.

We encourage students to broaden their minds by exploring interests outside their examined subjects with our super-curricular programme. From art appreciation and yoga to first aid and taking part in the Model United Nations, there really is something on offer for everyone.
