Join our Junior School

We are a family-friendly, independent school for girls aged 7 to 11, nestled in leafy Westbury-on-Trym, just a few miles north of Bristol city centre.  Our home-from-home approach and small class sizes make sure every girl is truly known.  We provide excellent education through a broad and balanced curriculum that develops girls' inner confidence and love for learning. 

At present all of our visiting events are virtual, although you can email junioradmissions@redmaidshigh.co.uk or call 0117 989 8427 to arrange a personal one-to-one Zoom call with Mrs Brown, our Headteacher, at a time that is convenient for you.

Our next Visiting Event (detail to be confirmed) is on Thursday 6 May. 

Normally, we would offer various visiting events throughout the course of the year, and welcome visitors on site, for individual tours and meetings with our Headteacher and other staff.

Assessment Days

Our assessments involve considering your daughter's ability in mathematics, writing and reading, and she completes a non-verbal reasoning test.  We keep it informal and relaxed, and no advance preparation is needed.

Afterwards, we provide you with detailed feedback, which is essential when making such an important decision.
