Keen filmmakers, writers, directors, producers and future stars of screen are invited to take part in Bristol’s first 48 Hour Film Challenge this May. Teams from schools and extra-curricular clubs will be given the challenge of making an original film from start to finish in just 48 hours!
Workshops from teachers and industry professionals will be held for staff and students in the weeks leading up to the weekend to help participants brush up on their skills. We also have a exciting panel of judges from within the industry, including Col Needham, the founder and CEO of IMDb, the most famous online database for films, TV shows, video games, and streaming content.
You can find more detailed information about the challenge here, including the rules, how the judging will work and everything else you need to know.
It’s a fun, fast paced, creative challenge for students across the city to get involved with. If you want to get a team registered you can sign up below, or if you have any further questions then email the event organiser, Sarah Bramley Dymond on 48hours@redmaidshigh.co.uk.
