As you will no doubt be aware, the unlawful death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on 25 May 2020 has been a catalyst for worldwide anger. Anger at systemic racism, consistent injustice and blatant inequality. This is not a new anger. This is centuries old, and now we must all be part of the solution.
Our curriculum has changed significantly in recent years to reflect more diverse narratives, and these changes continue to be made. But naturally conversations about race relations happen outside of school too. This section of the website contains a selection of materials that may help to equip ourselves and students with the knowledge to be actively anti-racist.
